I wrote this song at work on the First Act plastic-stringed guitar. Seriously, there's not a lot to say about this song. Maybe I'll think of something later.

I know that I've got to write this down.
Nothing seems to stay.

Another heart of mine, another expiration date.
Another word to hold onto.
Another back and forth.
A new notepad and old voice notes.
A night of this, and... I don't know.

Pictures and things, you can throw them away if you never save what you wanted to save.
Watching and waiting can make one forget but this time I know that I've got to write this down.

Nothing seems to stay.

Sometimes you forget how you felt then.
